Binky's Johnny Weir Blog: "...Before Victor"

where he was interviewed about his career,

his take on the Japanese men's skaters,

and his marriage. Which is awesome.

So I wasn't even going to blog today, since I'm still trying to recover from the sparkly amazeballs that was Johnny on Celebrity Cook-Off on Sunday, but then this interview happened and Japanese fans were tweeting endless adorable photos from it for everyone to share and then there was even actualfax VIDEO and so obviously we have way too much fabulousness to be put off until tomorrow and so here we are.

But first, the big news in Johnny world is that Johnny's amazing seven-day online auction opened yesterday on Linda's Stuff, and OMG: What a treasure trove of items! Prices begin at $29, so there really is something for everyone to bid on. Fans recognized many of the clothing pieces from Johnny's various appearances, including these items (match-ups thanks to dear Wendy Stevenz):

Of his skating, Johnny said:

"For me, figure skating, yes, is a sport, and

you have to fight. But the most important thing

was to create four minutes, five minutes,

for my audience to forget the world

and just look at something that was... art."

The most amazing part of the interview:

Discussing his marriage to Victor.

He revealed that they met about five years ago,

that Victor "lived in a secret" for a long time,

and that he sees his husband as "very strong"

in contrast to himself, who is "very sparkly."

"For me to be in a relationship

with someone who is so strong,

it inspired me to have a personal life."

"I never thought I would have it...

before Victor."

Nope, we never get tired of seeing
his wedding ring. ♥

because he missed the passion of competing.

There was a brief disturbance in The Force yesterday, as Hines Ward and Dean McDermott momentarily overtook Johnny in the Rachael vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off Fan Favorite voting, leaving Johnny suddenly in third place. Fortunately, alert fans started freaking out immediately, the bat signal was activated, and in about 90 minutes we had him not only back in first place, but with a comfortable 10-point lead. Here are the standings now as of this writing:
