2013 has not been my favorite year ever. And last week was one of my least favorite weeks in this supremely not-favorite year. I spent most of it drowning in other people’s words, none of which were kind, loving, uplifting, encouraging, or helpful in any way. And none of which did anything to make this world a better place for anyone.

So currently I’m experiencing a lot of word-fatigue. 

But that’s OK, because these extraordinary photos speak to my soul all on their own, of light, beauty, courage, endurance, and love.

I hope they’ll do the same for you.
