Set those DVRS: Johnny returns to the Kentucky Derby!! It’s his first appearance at the event since 2010, when he wowed with the outfit above (the HAT!) He’s reuniting with partner-in-crime Tara Lipinski to do fashion commentary for NBC Sports Network on Friday, May 2, for the Kentucky Oaks race, and for NBC on Saturday, May 3, at the 140th Run for the Roses. I believe he also may be doing additional pre-race coverage for NBC Sports Network Saturday afternoon. And I hear he’s expected at the traditional Barnstable Brown party as well. 

Best writeup about this gig: The Cut, which called the two of them “sassy church ladies.”

So I recorded the “Best of U.S.” thing and watched it after we were spellbound by the season finale of Shameless, which we had also recorded because during the time slot Sunday night when Shameless was actually finale-ing, we were retrieving my second car from an entirely different location in Chicago than the one in which I live, which is an entirely different story that really has no point at all but a certain amount of irresistible charm, like a Wes Anderson film gone oddly wrong, which is really saying something given that Wes Andersons films make their home in the space where things are not quite right, which essentially sums up my entire life, but anyway, my point, and I do have one, is:

Johnny Weir Files For Divorce From Husband (Exclusive)

Johnny Weir has filed for divorce from husband Victor Weir-Voronov, Access Hollywood has exclusively learned.

“It is with great sadness that I announce that my husband and I are no longer together,” the ice skater and TV personality said in a statement to Access.

The 29-year-old said their future together does not look promising.

“I have been sad for a long time,” he continued in the statement to Access. “And unfortunately don’t foresee a way to resolve our current marital issues.”
