Multimedia Wednesday With Your Host, Doctor Who

Photo tweeted by @ESJW after the
Fukuoka skating seminar: "Thank you @JohnnyGWeir,
I enjoyed your teaching to young skaters. ❤❤❤"

OK, we've just got a mishmash of things this morning that are in no particular order because part of what we have are random photos from the skating seminar Johnny already conducted with the fabulous Miki Ando in Fukuoka on Wednesday at 6:30 pm which hasn't actually happened here yet (paging Doctor Who) though we already also have video (O.O), but first, this important Public Service Announcement accompanied by a Champs Camp flashback:

BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE
TODAY PLEASE PLEASE WATCH
THIS VIDEO FROM ALEX AND
MAIA SHIBUTANI OMG IT'S THE
BEST THING EVER ESPECIALLY
THE "SURPRISE ENDING":

Love the ShibSibs so much.
Alex seriously has a future in videography IMO.

OK! On to our skating seminar, which, from what I can glean from scraps of Twitter conversation, is a thing Johnny did as a representative of the USA in conjunction with the US consulate in Fukuoka as part of his US Embassy... thing. Which, though somewhat incoherent, is awesome. So have some Johnny and Miki.

Johnny works so well with kids. He puts himself into their skating shoes and gives heartfelt encouragement.

I'm forever moved by Johnny's Bad Romance program, which captures the essence of being trapped in a coercive relationship of any type. All of Japan has endured a bad romance these past two years.

I am very impressed with the toughness required of skaters and gymnasts who endure painful falls and significant injuries as part of their sport routine.
