Beautiful Johnny as the King’s Consort, 

skating to “When Love Is Gone” from Farewell My Concubine. 

The King’s role is skated by Zhang Hao in the 

boundary-breaking male/male pairs performance 

that has now moved two Chinese audiences to tears and 

to the loudest applause for any performance during 

both shows thus far, according to fan reports.

Yes, Johnny arrived safely in China early this morning, after a lengthy flight delay out of New Jersey that I’m sure added just the right touch of arghhhhhhh to his already slightly torturous 12-hour flight across half the world, although said delay also seems like just the sort of thing to put his faithful traveling companion, Jet Lag, in a really bubbly mood, so yay for that.

Kayso FINALLY we gave Johnny his birthday gifts yesterday! Yes, his birthday was two weeks ago, but of course he was in Japan for his actual birthday, so we decided to wait until he came home (briefly) to have everything delivered since his birthday is worth celebrating all month long anyway, and thus our gifts became his mid-month party in between his Japanese fans showering him with love at the beginning of the month and his Chinese fans doing so at the end.

So Johnny left Japan today after completing the amazing Fantasy on Ice tour, in which he introduced both his beautiful “Human” program and his fantastic Bollywood to the world and generally made everything a bit sparklier everywhere he went.
