The Boy in the Bustle

Johnny at the NYC premiere of Contagion last night.
Loooove this bustle jacket!
First seen in the fabulous eDressMe video,
and oh how we've longed for another appearance of it!

(You may have seen most of these pics already. But, as a public service, here they are again all together in one spot so we can just sit around and carefully consider the bustle and its absolutely essential role in men's fashion and enjoy not getting anything else done the rest of the day. Really, I'm just here to help.)

Kayso ever since Johnny tweeted Tuesday night asking what he should wear to this premiere and my dear friend Deb tweeted back at him:

...I've been secretly hoping maybe he'd do just that. Because, as several of us agreed on Twitter last night, we love a boy in a bustle.

Especially this boy. From every angle...

...including angles in which the bustle is not actually visible...

...and also close-up angles...

(Update: New version of this photo
courtesy of Tatiana Edrenkina, who has mad photo skillz.
See her beautiful tumblr here!)

...and especially this angle.
Because it's the boy, even more than the bustle,
that we're all really gaga over.
Although nobody rocks a bustle like he does.

Bonus pics! For that "you are there" feeling:
Exclusive pic from Super Managtress Tara,

He makes people smile. Look at that last pic. All people are smiling while looking at him..even the ones who don´t interview him. He naturally draws attention to him.

The close-up pics are beautiful especially the ones where his eyes are shown to their full advantage. Did I mention that the first thing I look for in people are their eyes? Johnny has beautiful eyes.

Thank you for that little picspam.

He is a vision in that jacket. To pull off an almost literal Victorian garment and make it look modern and of the moment is verrry difficult without looking precious and contrived. Johnny does it with ease.
Thoroughly modern and svelte; yet still showing off the inherent romance of the design. Bravo, Johnny! Add a captivating smile and those gorgeous eyes...that's red carpet well done!
