The interview was conducted by the fabulous Akiko Tamura in July
while both Johnny and Yuzu were performing in Fukuoka.

So Johnny and Tara left Japan yesterday, landing safely at JFK about an hour before they took off from Tokyo, and are now gearing up for Fashion Week with events beginning on Thursday, but I'm still wandering around in last Friday, wading through tons of leftover picspam from rehearsals to shows to their departure from Japan on Monday, in which they took off about an hour after they arrived home....
That whole concept never fails to boggle my mind, although I'm also still fascinated by pizza rolls, so maybe I'm easily boggled. IDK.
Anyway, the blog clock over there is back on New Jersey time, but I'm in Niigata on Johnny time, where we pick up our story with these exclusive photos from Super Managtress Tara...

Between rehearsals.
Tara writes: "Major Internet problems at the rink... uuuuugh.
I had a 20-minute break, so I ran back to the hotel
to send like 5,000 emails. Luckily Stéphane had to get something
from the hotel, so they were calling a cab anyway
and I hitched a ride with him!

"This is the bridge in Niigata that spans the longest river in Japan."
Which is pretty good considering Super Managtress Tara
was absorbing this info at what for her was about 5:24 a.m....
She later confirmed that it's the Bandai Bridge,
and the name of the river is the Shinano.

It´s Tuesday. Finally. We celebrate this happening...this day being long anticipated Tuesday...with the equally and desperately expected picspam. There it is, and it blows my mind which isn´t that unexpected at all. Now I´ll be staying here in anticipation of more mindblowing pics to come. Soonest. How about...Wednesday? Do we agree on that?

Or wondering if what Stephane needed at the hotel was a shave, lol! And much as I like the idea of the two of them walking into the light together, I hope it won't be for many many years yet.
