Carnivale: The Movie

The following video is shared with permission from the unbelievably fabulous Eric Alt, who posted it on his Facebook page last night and who clearly has a future in comedy should he ever grow tired of endlessly styling Johnny's hair.*

I have no words. At all. Because I'm laughing so hard I can't speak. Or write. Or type.

Or breathe.

Like when Dr. Weir forces Eric to wear the glass helmet.

Although maybe it's that I'm allergic to horses...

Just watch. You'll understand.

And then we can discuss Evil Clown Johnny.

Screencaps from the video found on the Tumblr
to whom I am forever grateful.

I also have no idea how they made it through this whole thing without totally cracking up (although watch for Johnny to almost lose it at about 3:47, when Eric says the clowns in his dream "wobble.")

My glass helmet is off to them.

Brilliant and absolutely priceless.

If you need me, I'll just be here. All day. Screencapping like crazy. And eating salmons.

Be forewarned: You might think the movie is over at about 9:40.
But it's not. Wait for it ... wait for it ...
Video link.

*Eric: "I think Johnny Weir is the devil ... Sometimes in my dreams, I have to do his hair over and over and over and over. And he wants a pompadour. And then he wants finger waves. And then he wants extensions. And then he wants it natural. And it's driving me crazy."

Gif from CompleteMadman's Tumblr,
with a thousand thanks.

Please join me in supporting GLAAD's Spirit Day initiative!
From GLAAD's website: "Millions of Americans wear purple
on Spirit Day as a sign of support for lesbian, gay, bisexual
and transgender (LGBT) youth and to speak out against bullying.
Spirit Day was started in 2010 by teenager Brittany McMillan
as a response to the young people who had taken their own lives.
Observed annually on October 20, individuals, schools, organizations,
corporations, media professionals and celebrities wear purple,
which symbolizes spirit on the rainbow flag."

I will of course be wearing my purple
Johnny Weir-Traver Rains "Army of One" T-shirt that day.

Carnivale!

We interrupt our nearly infinite supply of Fashion on Ice rehearsal pics to bring you these random moments from last night's Carnivale runway show hosted by fabulous Beauty Bear Eric Alt and starring Johnny! I had a really long day and evening and night yesterday which essentially I'm still having so I'm barely awake as I'm throwing these pics on here and IDEK what actually went on at this show, but I love it.

And now, a few exclusive behind-the-scenes photos courtesy of the lovely Shannon, who, despite various phone troubles and an incredibly crowded venue in which she ended up taking some pics while balanced precariously on her knees, valiantly provided these just for Johnny's fans. For which we thank her x 100000000000. :)

Johnny and Eric share a light moment.

China: Finale.

The end is in sight:
Friday, 07/22/2011, 5:29 p.m.
Eric says: "Johnny and Sasha Cohen
after AOI dress rehearsal #999,999,999."

Kayso Johnny and Eric made it back safely on Monday from the Never-Ending Trip To China, so that was good, and whilst they were collapsing and trying to adjust to literally having two Mondays in a row but not nearly enough sleep on any day in recent memory, we all continued to be dazzled by the endless treasures of Weibo. And as I was perusing yet another thread of glorious Weibo picspam Tuesday at around 4 a.m. because my life is weird but it works for me, I randomly checked my email and discovered that OMG ERIC JUST SENT ONE LAST SURPRISE BATCH OF PICS!!! Upon which my first thought was, "OMG ERIC JUST SENT ONE LAST SURPRISE BATCH OF PICS!!!" followed closely by, "Why is Eric AWAKE?"

IDK. But I think we can all agree that we're really grateful that he was, and that all his pics have been amazing, and that we really appreciate that he was actually awake enough to even include captions in this batch. So thank you AGAIN, dear Eric, for going so far out of your way for Johnny's fans. ♥

And so here is the final chapter of China: The Iceman Melteth, Or: Journey To Seriously-It's-Like-5000000-Degrees-Celsius-I-Think-We're-Gonna-Need-A-Bigger-Fan Land.

(Notes: (1) As always, for full-size view, please click any photo to open it in a new window, and then click again to enlarge. (2) Captions by Eric are in quotes. (3) No flying pink pandas were hallucinated, harmed, or otherwise involved in the production of this blog. But possibly in the production of the photos. IDK.)

10:39 p.m.

"Sasha Cohen and I at the meet-n-greet.
In the background is Shizuka Arakawa
figure skater from Japan."
Shizuka won the gold at the 2006 Olympics--
the first Japanese skater ever to do so,
and the only medal won by the Japanese team that year.

10:46 p.m.

"Johnny and some of the cast
at the meet-n-greet with the $ponsors."

"Last pic of Johnny from Taipei."

Bonus video! Johnny's final two performances
from Artistry On Ice in Taipei.
First, "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien."

And next, Bad Romance.
Both of these videos were taken by ヤグファン, or "Yagudin's fan,"
and uploaded to YouTube by maplecherrychoco.
Johnny liked this one so much
he even tweeted about it last night:

Bonus gifs!!
These two gifs capture the moment
when Johnny receives the "Where's my Mr. 8.5?" artwork
from a fan in Shanghai. LOL.
