Anyway, LOL to the hand sanitizer on the plane! I am so trying to visualize this and the only thing I can really do is laugh at Johnny's expense! So sorry Johnny, don't be angry with me for laughing! :-D

I really enjoyed the lovely pics and the stories behind them. Thanks so much, Binky and Tara!! I'm sorry to hear about the pains in progress, but I'm relieved that Johnny in the airport looks happy feeling that he is so much loved and welcome by his Chinese pandas.
About the giant fish tank in a coffee restaurant. It is not surprising to see a fish tank in a coffee restaurant in Japan too, but in the tank are usually tropical fishes, neither golden fishes--those in the pic are pretty!--nor such a large fish--what's that fish?--swimming upper in the tank. The larger fish seems to me to be from a huge fish tank we see at some traditional Japanese restaurants. Breams, flatfishes, yellowtails, lobsters, crabs, etc. are kept in the tank, and when some of them are chosen by customers, they are taken to the kitchen. . . Discuss?
Water and fish improve feng shui at a business establishment. The water traps the monetary spirits and keeps them in the room instead of wandering out. Same thing with wind chimes by the door of Chinese establishments. Ditto with red objects. (I'm rooted in science yet have bought pretty red objects for the living room when job hunting.)
How about this for a caption: "Worth their weight in puppies in cuteness."

I need to wallpaper my life with that adorable picture of Preshy-Stephy and Johnny, and look at it often -- to up the happy-factor. Those boys are too cute. Stephane looks like a trouble-maker. :)

The fish tank has to do with feng shui...having a fish tank full of water keeps the good fortune trapped in your store/restaurant.
Here in the states, a fish tank is a good sign at an Oriental eatery because it says that the folks are not that long out of the old country and haven't yet figured out the ways that they can cut corners. Chances are, you will have a more authentic meal.
