He's been kind of a hot topic on Twitter lately. Also yesterday, @NBCOlympics tweeted:

What Olympian, past or present, would you LOVE to see make a return in Sochi in 2014?

To which more than 50 percent of respondees answered: "Johnny Weir!" (Or, "The one and only Johnny Weir!" or "Johnny Weir, of course!" Etc.)

I also love this Twitter convo from last week that ensued after @SamuraiCicero tweeted a photo of Johnny from the Chris Benz presentation and @chickgonebad sighed: "It's my fabulous ice skating imaginary boyfriend!!!"

What, Are You in the Business of Asking Silly Questions Like NBC Now?

So seeing Johnny prostrate on the floor reminded me: Hey, I have a few new pics of him in that same coat! (yes, I realize he's like in a coma there, but OMG THAT COAT. It's SO AWESOME.), courtesy of amazing photographer and dear friend Tatiana Edrenkina, who, when I muttered on Twitter the other day that I was bored, sent me like 248 pictures from when he was in Russia for City Lights in December 2011. So here are a few, taken when he and Tara came out of the arena after the show and were greeted by fans. Gaze; admire; sigh; quad; lather; rinse; repeat.
