Next Stop: LA PRIDE!

Johnny at his second Macy's appearance
last night in Washington, DC.
Attendees report that the atmosphere was warm and friendly;
each person had plenty of time to visit with Johnny;
and multiple hugs were enjoyed by all.
More excellent photos from the event
are available at Wire Image here and here!

In today's installment of Seriously? (subtitle: FML), we discover that our heroine's central air conditioning actually gave out several hours before the 95-degree weather brought a roiling thunderstorm smashing through town that caused a power outage immediately after yesterday's blog was posted (thank Weirsus) and thus left everyone trying to sleep in a house whose thermostat was set at 72 but whose actual temperature was a non-sleep-inviting (unless you count the part toward the end where we fell into heat-stroke-induced comas) 150 degrees, and also that it ultimately didn't matter when the central air actually died because no one can come and fix it anyway until next Wednesday-ish. Or September.

Which has left me in the kind of mood that is not totally alleviated by these simply beautiful pictures of Johnny from yesterday's event at Macy's in Washington DC, although as I browse through them again I'm thinking wow I love the curly sublime jellyfish hair and how happy and relaxed he seems and also the shorts and the tank and the backdrop and the everything and ... I'm sorry, what was I saying?

Who cares? LOOK. AT. THE. PHOTOS.

Also there's some bits of video, both from his commentary during the fashion-show part and from the mini-Q and A session he held, and in all of it he is charming and funny and fascinating, as always, and at the rate fans around the world post and tweet and retweet everything Johnny-related, what he said during the Q and A is going to hit everywhere any minute now...

Anyhooooooooo.....

So!

Now he's off to LA! Saturday he'll be at Macy's Beverly Center at 2 pm PDT, so if you can get there, this is a great opportunity to meet him! Then Sunday he'll be leading the LA PRIDE Parade as Grand Marshal, and I'm sure his outfit will be amazingly glittery and fabulous and, with any luck at all, filmed and photographed from every conceivable angle. The Parade will be televised live and also available via live webcast (links below), and you can bet I'll be watching, in the tiny sweltering room that houses our fastest computer--air or no air.

Because who would want to miss even a moment of this:

Bonus pics! Before arriving in DC yesterday,
Johnny and Tara stopped by the Weir home in Delaware.
Away from the usual high-speed chaotic explosion
of appearances and autographs and filming
and exhibition skates and premieres and honors
and projects and speeches and utter craziness
that is his life at the moment,
Johnny got to visit with the family puppies--
who were clearly delighted to see him,
as evident in the pic above tweeted by Tara--
all under the quiet, watchful gaze
of his younger self ...

Super Managtress Tara Modlin--thank you!

Awww...that pic of his quiet younger self. That´s nice.

I´m looking forward to what this weekend will bring. Extremely looking forward to it.

Meanwhile I enjoy all the great pics and vids that are being posted every where. He knows how to spread the Johnny love and he doesn´t even need to pretend anything. He´s just being himself. As usual.
