IT'S KIND OF A BIG DEAL. Mashable gets more than 50 million page views per month, and has been named by Time Magazine as one of the top 25 blogs on the Internet.
He's up against some stiff competition from Yuna Kim and John Cena, among others, but hey--we're really good at voting! We can do this!
He's also in some amazing company: As Megan Gusinski pointed out, finalists in other categories include The Trevor Project, NOH8, GLAAD, and Ellen Degeneres, so you might want to do some additional voting while you're on Mashable's site.

My goodness! How do you always find The Perfect Words?? And how is it that Davey seems insanely, spectacularly capable of doing the same trick, just with photos?? It is your family's gift and one that has been an endless source of happiness and laughter and relighting of my flame with that blow-job thing....er....um...you know what I mean. (I couldn't resist, although I plan to cut and paste those beautiful quotes so I can keep them forever).
And I'm with you 374% that this is one of Johnny's greatest gifts. I seriously think he could re-blow the flames of millions of happier-now humans, as we've seen him do already, endlessly and generously. Face it, that man gives the best re-blow of the flame ever. ;)
Anyhow, it's early here and I'm a little less than eloquent. Maybe it's just that there are not words to describe the gratitude I have for you providing a conduit to Johnny the way you have. And there are not words to describe the gratitude I have to Tara for her many sparkly kindnesses, to Patti for her palpable sweetness and patience with all of us goofballs, and to everyone that surrounds Johnny for filling him with all of his glowing, silly, superobvious happiness and light. This year has been incredible to behold. And Vitya! HOW AMAZING IS HE???? Love love love him for his part in this grand adventure.
(Plus, how would I manage without you a certain other utb blue-eyed sasser???)
