In the Wake of Mongoose Droppings, and in Anticipation of the Unparalleled Beauty and Artistry That Will Be Johnny at the Ice Theatre of New York Tonight

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure ...
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
--Marianne Williamson

Johnny, you are a far bigger spirit
than can be contained in the narrow, inbred world
of competitive figure skating--
hence your popularity the world over
not only for the sheer brilliance of what you do,
but also for being unafraid to be who you are.

You shine so brightly
that all others fade into nothingness,
mere backdrops for you
and what you bring to every performance.

Others skate. You transcend skating.

Every time you take to the ice, you transport us,
with all the beauty, passion, natural talent,
and mesmerizing artistry that is yours.

The journey always ends too soon,
always leaves us wanting more.

You are powerful.
You are fabulous and witty.
You are fierce!
And you are kindness, grace, and dignity personified
in some very difficult moments.

You have no equal, on the ice or off.

Please know that you are loved everywhere.
And always, you are a champion.

Please keep voting for Johnny
as "Most Addictive Reality Star"
in the NewNowNext Awards! Vote here
(he's the last one listed in the fifth category--scroll down!)
or on Twitter by constantly tweeting #realityWEIR.
Voting ends June 4, which gives us plenty of time
to get Johnny oh, say, ONE MILLION votes!

*sniffs, dabs eye*

Love you, Mama.

What did GLo call Johnny - "The people's champion"? I hope Johnny knows that there are a lot of us out here who love him in ALL his perfect, and imperfect, moments. He is a bright, shiny diamond with a thousand facets.

We'll keep pumping out the positive energy, so Johnny can ride it when he needs it! We're with you all the way, Johnny, and we're everywhere.

Dear Binky,

I love your poem - wonderful. And that is exactly what Johnny should focus on from his fans.

I am feeling a bit frustrated with all of the hoopla over one word - slor/slore. Albeit there is more than one urban definition of the word. (I HAD TO LOOK IT UP) And it isn't complimentary either way. But you know that I chose to believe that Johnny called Evan a Slor after the big kahuna monster in Ghosterbusters rather than the other...ahem.

Yeeah, that's what he did!

In any event, Johnny shot back at the media and at Evan yesterday. It took one second for him to utter that word. He was gracious as he sat patiently listening to WW regurgitate that mean-spirited and false statement of Evan's. And I do believe that it takes on a different meaning for Johnny when one of your colleagues says things like that versus some sports commentator. And so it happened; Johnny called him a name - one word.
And now it's over. At least I hope that is how it is treated - DONE.

I hope to read about and see many photos of JGWs beautiful perfomances in NY tonight. I don't want to pick away at Evan because I truly do not care about him. He is just another skater. He will NEVER EVER be like Johnny.
