Until Further Notice...

Due to extreme fan wankness overload.

If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a message.

I'll be enjoying myself immensely elsewhere
listening to all the Johnny Weir karaoke I can find,
creating special spring-themed placemats for my dining room
featuring his fabulous new look from the Glo.com party,
and counting down the days until I can download
his first single on iTunes.

If you need something to read in the meantime,
I recommend this.
Be sure to click on it again after it loads
to enlarge it for readability.

Now if you'll excuse me, there's
an unbelievably gorgeous, gifted, dark-haired,
ethereal yet down-to-earth,
always surprising, never boring,
and wickedly witty skater
waiting to sing to me...

Please keep voting for Johnny
as "Most Addictive Reality Star"
in the NewNowNext Awards! Vote here
(he's the last one listed in the fifth category--scroll down!)
or on Twitter by constantly tweeting #realityWEIR.
Voting ends June 4, which gives us plenty of time
to get Johnny oh, say, ONE MILLION votes!

So, Misfit, you posted about your latest blog post on Johnny's FB page and FB suddenly freaked out and started crashing. It too, is not happy that your blog is closed for a bit. Sigh . . . I get it, I really do, but I'm really REALLY going to miss your daily blog posts.

And, it must be said, Jessica's definition of a fanatic is right on. If you truly love Johnny, then you love and accept him and how he chooses to express himself. Loving someone does not mean owning them.

Come back soon, k?

I'm sorry to see you're stepping back, Binky. Thanks for the link to Jessica's essay. Yesterday was a difficult day. I want Johnny to be taken seriously, for people to see what I see in him, and I didn't feel like a dance single would further that. All I could think of was Paris Hilton's disasterous single. And then I realized: He doesn't care, so why should I. He's going to do this like everything else, the way he wants because he wants to. His fearlessness is what drew me to him. How can I take that back now?

He's smart enough to know this extreme celebrity won't last forever. So you go, baby. Grab those opportunities. Make some money. We're with you, win or lose. I'll so miss your beauty on the ice if you quit, but go be happy. Spread that beauty. And keep in touch.

Thanks again, Binky. You've expressed a lot of things I didn't have the words and gave that opportunity to others. I hope you come back soon.

Edit: Thank you to Jessica for voicing what I think, too. Where has she posted that since I did not see it until now. That´s a great piece and gets filed away directly to my hard drive, Johnny Weir, fan messages...

Thank you, Misfit, for linking that also.

I love you gal, I really really do. I will miss your wonderful insightful and happy blogs! Please try hard to not let others get you down.... (I understand it's a challenge, really I do). Just go on loving him and all his greatness! I hope that your sabitical is short-lived.
As a side note: I could truly give a rats ass about what anyone really thinks. Honestly, no one of ever really knows what's best for another human being, particularily someone we don't personally know. It has always chaffed my hide when anyone seems to think they can be the moral compass for anyone else. Maybe 'cause I have so many "moral compasses" trying to steer my life at times. (Stepping back down off of soap-box).
I LOVE YOU MISFIT! Glittery hugs and sparkly kisses to you!

@Jessica Lane: Thank you for so eloquently putting into words what I hardly understand myself. It was perfect. (Referring to your essay following the link, of course).

@Misfit Mimes: You know exactly how I feel! And we're all here for you, 276%. All day, every day!

Johnny: You need backup dancers, you say? I think you could fill an airplane hangar with willing "just dancers!" xoxoxo Count me in!!

I tried to comment earlier, but it didn't take? :(

I adore you, Misfit. Adore you, too, Jessica L. Thank you for saying things so well, as always.

I hope Johnny lives a life full of adventure, prettiness, and love, with few regrets. I'm just happy he shares himself with the world, and to be along for the ride.

Johnny has been polarizing people from the get-go, that's just a part of the Johnny Weir sauce. I hope our little FB community will agree to disagree *respectfully* in the future. Fragile hearts get broken.

And PS, I hope he makes some coin from the single! Boy has been the hardest working man in showbiz lately, but not necessarily doing money-makers. Commendable, but I'd love the opportunity to help support his Balenciaga habit.

wow, I must have missed alot because I had to work, but after reading all the posts and your blog and jessica's letter, I found myself tearing up because I LOVE JOHNNY SO MUCH. I am a fanatic and I am proud of it, and I appreciate your blog and pics so much. I hope everyone join hands in wierlandia again and we can all smile knowing how much joy he brings to our hearts and lives. I just had to post this to let you know how much I appreciate you.
