Johnny tweeted about 3 a.m. EDT today that his grandfather, Robert Moore--Patti's father--has passed away.
Johnny, I'm so sorry. May beautiful memories and God's everlasting love surround and comfort all of you at this difficult time.

Very eloquently done and respectful. Thank you, MM! I was one of the first people to see his tweet as I was looking at twitter at the moment he sent it. I felt bad for him, and I still do. He's supposed to skate in a couple days, and I can't help wondering if he'll be able to. Maybe if he's able he can skate in his grandpa's honor. One of his numbers is supposed to be 'Heartbroken', I think.
Nothing more to say to that.
My thoughts are with Johnny and with Pattie and their whole family.
