this ethereally brilliant photo of the force of nature that is Johnny

has been making the rounds among fans and generating its own

whirlwind of comments. Some of my favorites:

"He looks like a sparkly, glittery, rhinestone tornado!"

"he's a lamé typhoon," "he looks like he's made of stars,"

"it looks like he's swirling the galaxy into him.

Like he's wrapped in gauzy universe,"

"a stellar cloud where stars are born!

He looks like that, but Johnny, so even better,"

"this new costume makes him look like a galaxy

spinning above the ice ... what a spectacular moment captured!"

and "this is the part when you kind of feel like

you are being taken to a Swarovski-crystal-encrusted dream ...

Kayso now that Johnny's rockstar summer tour of Japan, China, Taiwan, and ... Idaho ... is officially over (BRB having a sudden urge to play, "Which item doesn't belong?"), we present random leftover bits of said tour whilst we contemplate the fact that we're really happy he'll soon be going on the most well-deserved vacation in the history of humankind but we're already bored that he's gone and he hasn't even left yet ...

First, some Sun Valley picspam, all courtesy once again of the lovely Diana Dumbadse, who quietly posted these on Johnny's FB fan page over the weekend--so quietly, in fact, that FB just nodded and smiled primly and then decided to tuck them away in the photos folder and not tell a soul that they were there, in its own perverse game of "Which items DO belong? Well, all of them, actually, but we're just going to make that our little secret because this is FB and therefore nothing has to make sense which would make sense to you if you were FB." I discovered them by happy accident thanks to this tweet from @cryandkiss which led me to a tumblr post titled, "y u no show on the FB page, pics?!" So here are some selected shots from the afternoon practice and the evening's rain-soaked performance, and you can see them all by clicking on "Photos" on the fan page.

Twitter followers noticed the show was late getting started, and later yet Johnny tweeted, "Skating outdoors, in the rain, at 23:45, only in Sun Valley." In reply, @DitaVonTeese's mama, who was at the show, tweeted, "@JohnnyGWeir you are worth getting wet for THANKS." :)

Johnny, seen here fatiguing his way across the ice in Sun Valley, tweeted after he arrived home yesterday: "I think I'm officially tired. It's been quite a couple months! Thank you to my fans around the world for inspiring me to be my best! Love you." ♥

Yes, it has been quite a summer, from LA Pride to Macy's events around the country to Japan to China to Taiwan to ... Idaho ... And then of course there was the entire 18 months before that ...

He's definitely more than earned a vacation, but even though he said no phones and no computers, we're still kinda wistfully hoping for a tweet or two while he's away ...
